Growing up in honky tonks and music halls across Central Texas, Sam fell in love with the art of storytelling. Sam always felt drawn to tell stories and initially aspired to be an author. However, it was in high school that he turned to songwriting as an outlet for his emotions. At just fifteen years old he released his debut album, aptly named “Storyteller,” and has followed in his dad’s footsteps, writing and performing, in the same Texas Hill Country where it all began. Sam’s deep connection to the Texas Hill Country is reflected in his songwriting, and he’s had the honor of opening for Texas country legends such as Gary P. Nunn, Sunny Sweeney, Slaid Cleaves, Susan Gibson, and Adam Carroll. Sam is currently working on his next album, and you can hear previews of these new songs at his shows in his beloved Texas Hill Country and beyond!
